[2025-11-6] Today, let us discuss the topic of labor market equilibrium. We will combine labor supply and demand to analyze how labor market equilibrium is determined, and discuss some consequences when the market is not perfectly competitive. In the second part of the lecture, we will apply this model to analyze two important public policy: minimum wage and migration. [2025-10-30] Today, we will conclude labor demand model, and discuss some empirical evidence on labor demand.In the second part of the lecture, we will have a debate on a public policy issue:robot tax versus robot subsidy in the perspective of labor market impact.
